.... the Lilliputians choose their goverment officials among rope dancers which is extremely ridicilous and resembles to the British goverment system. like this one, Lilliputians, in order to give Gulliver his freedom, prepared a contract. with this contract they thought that they got the control of gulliver but they failed. they falsely believe that they can control with power of their laws, a fault shared with the europeans. Lilliputians do not question their cultural norms because they don\'t believe in any other living things exist on earth except them. and also they want to set free gulliver because they want to get rid of the symbol (gulliver) w .....

.... arrival of illegal immigrants. The play is set in an American society when the immigration law has recently changed. The set portrays the life of most Italian immigrants with temporary or seasonal jobs and little money. The homes are simple tenement buildings with sparse amounts of furniture inside. With the "American Dream" not being lived by these legal citizens the idea of isolation between Italian cultures and the US is evident. The majority of people going to the theatre would be Middle class and well paid so watching a play about poorer Italians creates tension and suggests an unhappy outcome. All the animals attack and defeat the farmer and his men and scare the farmers wife into sneaking out of the farmhouse and escaping. Life after the humans leave is not the paradise the animals had dreamed about; Old majors ideals were forgotton and the pig Napolean and his pack of dogs assume leadership. Snowball, the other pig is forced to flee for his life and the other animals begin to suffer as they did before the revolution. .... seem righteous. The reader can no longer use their textbook ways of interpreting fiction and human behavior because O'Connor is constantly throwing our assumptions back at us. Through out "" O'Connor reinforces the horror of self-love through her images. She contrasts the two houses, The Tower: the restaurant owned by Red Sammy, and the plantation house. The restaurant is a "broken-down place"- "a long dark room" with a tiny place to dance. At one time Red Sammy found pleasure from the restaurant but now he is afraid to leave the door unlatched. He has given in to the "meanness" of the world. In contrast to the horrible Tower is the grandmo .....

.... the scene in the courthouse, because Jem and Scout still take seats with Reverend Sykes, the black man. In the novel we meet Sykes in the scene where Calpurnia takes the children to her church, and the children befriend him. But in the movie, that scene was not present, therefore there is no reason for the children to know Reverend Sykes because the segregation of the 30’s would normally eliminate all friendly contact with a person of the opposite race. Because of the removal of so many scenes, character development is minimal. Holden, according to many reviews in the Chicago Tribune, the New Yorker, and the New York Times, accurately captures the informal speech of an average intelligent, educated, northeastern American adolescent (Costello, 1990). Such speech includes both simple description and cursing. For example, Holden says, "They're nice and all", as well as "I'm not going to tell you my whole goddam autobiograph .....
