Although many doubt that William Shakespeare ever wrote the works attributed to him, some still resort to pro-Shakespearean arguments. John Drinkwater, author and believer, felt that the flowers, banks, brooks, pastures, and woodlands of Shakespeare's boyhood home, Stratford, were all transfigured in his plays by his wonderful verse, but yet they still remained the scenes to which he was bred. Drinkwater believed too, that not only in Shakespeare's humble folk, shepherds, gardeners, and serving men, but also in his princes and kings, he reflected .....

Complications begin to arise after the reader has a good feel on who the characters are, which then leads to the climax of the story. Tension first arrives between Julian and his mother when Julian moves from sitting next to his mother, to a Negro man on the bus .....

The soldiers did see that, and more, everyday, everynight, never to not be faced with it. The phrase "war is kind" is mentioned several times throught out the poem, which is not what most people would use to describe the war. That is probably the reason that the certain phrase was used. By saying that war is kind, it made the reader think, really think, about why would Crane use that phrase about the war. The reader then would figure out that the war wasn't kind, and think of reasons why it wasn't kind .....

He goes on further to offer pieces of his kingdom to his daughters as a form of reward to his test of love. "Great rivals in our youngest daughter's love, Long in our court have made their amorous sojourn, And here are to be answered. Tell me, my daughters (Since now we will divest us both of rule, Interest of territory, cares of state), Which of you shall we say .....

In the poem it says, “…I swore to my companions that certainly you were harmless!”, which is the typical statement of people addicted to gambling. Once again there is the control factor. This person can not control their desire for money and, the means of getting the money, gambling. Another important syntax technique can be seen in line 12. The poem says “…for that joy, which left a long wake of pleasure…” The words “which left” are put on a line alone to dr .....

At the beginning of the story, we meet the character, Ralph, the protagonist of the novel. Ralph is an example of the ethical citizen, intelligent and responsible but, on many occasions, is caught up in the opinion of others. The leadership that Ralph offers isn’t as stable and organized because he isn’t able to control the “littluns� and the others after a certain point. The author speaks of how her younger sister passed away and how heartbroken their mother was. Now it seems she is faced with her first born possibly dying in an untimely manner. Instead of devoting the poem to just simply her pain, anguish, and suffering, she broadens the topic of death and applies it to society and the environment in a way that cause me to reflect. She asks questions regarding what will happen if all life dyies, all creatures, signifing how death effects everyone and has is nondiscriminant in its quest. Questions a .....

He did not know that it was already behind him… (Pg.189)� Another symbolization of the color green, which contradicts the first, is the meaning “go.� As in a traffic light signal, most people associate green with the word and action “go.� This can be interpreted as meaning Gatsby should go for his dream without hesitation.
