One of the methods that he employs to enhance the uniqueness of his characters involves describing them connected to their surroundings. He creates landscapes and residences that parallel the essence of the character found within. Dickens also uses the past and future to create a vivid picture in the readers mind. Colors are another very critical part in Dickens writings. He uses colors contrasting the light with the dark to create a mood for his character. They never tell Oedipus that he is not their own. When Oedipus hears he is to kill his father and marry his mother, he leaves his parents and searches for a new residence. As her companion Pepita was ignored constantly and lived a life of solitude. Not only that, but he hires assassins to bump off Banquo and Fleeance, his son. Banquo gets killed, but Fleeance escapes. Macbeth was willing to kill his own friend just so he may remain king (The witches said Banquo's sons would be kings, and Macbeth didnt like that).
