Before his abdication in 1917 (as is parallel to Jones’ escapement from his spiteful farm of animals), the Tsar is known to have partaken in excess alcohol consumption along with his men. It was for this same reason that Jones has lost control of the farm, which initiates the ideal of revolution to the animals. Old Major .....

In fact, Hamlet admits this to Horatio, when he says, "Sir, in my heart there was a kind of fighting that would not let me sleep"(5.2 lines 4-5). This lack of restraint leads to Hamlet's unpredictable mood swings throughout the play. Hamlet's relationship with Ophelia easily spawns such dramatic alterations in the prince's attitude. For example, when Hamlet first suspects Ophelia acting only as a pawn for her father Polonius's benefit, he reacts rashly, bitterly denying that he ever lov .....

.... the script to direct the performance of the play, we were able to imagine gestures, expressions, and movements appropriate to the intention of the playwright. An example of this can be seen in the different Romeo and Juliets: Luhrman clearly had a more modern vision after reading the script than did Zeffirelli did only 18 years before. The live performance at the CalPoly theatre also carried !with it a very different feel less intense, more child-like and sweet with nearly the same words. Reading also affects our experience in that without the text, we would most likely not be able to enjoy Shakespeare at all; having the text makes Shakespea .....
