In the play “A Man For All Seasons” by Robert Bolt, the audience attention is directed onto value. Value is what you stand for, or in other words, what you would die for. Family is a reason to die for, for my friends this is questionable, but I would not die not for my country.

.... as families do. Friends come and go, some quicker then others but rarely forever. You do not always share as much love with your friends then compared to your family. To die for friends is questionable. Only the forever friend, will I die for, but how could I tell the future. One does not know the future, and for that reason is my value towards my friends questionable.
As for my country I refuse to risk my life for dictator who is on a power trip. Almost all wars are useless as the war ....
