A uniform helps students concentrate on their schoolwork and instills discipline in pupils. Two groups of students were compared. Each of the groups had 1000 pupils. Group "A" consisted of students that had a policy. Group "B" did not. After they took the same test, group "A" got 15% higher grades than group "B". This study shows that uniforms improve grades in school.
