Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. He was a centrally important composer of the Classical Era. On December 5, 1971, at the age of thirty five he died of typhoid fever, and was buried in a pauper’s grave on December 6, 1971.
