.... 1913. In 1917, the Ford was sued by his stock holders. He opened a plant in River Rouge. By 1926, Henry began loosing sales to General Motors and Chrysler, because his Model T was getting old. His newer cars received moderate sales. Henry’s son, Edsel was named president in 1919, but Henry remained in control. When Edsel died in 1943, Henry resumed presidency.
