In Young Goodman Brown Goodman Brown ended up living a miserable life because he couldn't deal with reality. The dream that he had changes his mind and made him believe in things that were fake but when he woke he couldn't deal with the real world. He believed what happened in the dream was reality and what ever happens in reality goes against what he learned in his dreams. So whenever normal actions ....
