“Roses, Rhododendron” by Alice Adams is a story about the life of a little girl who moves down South, to North Carolina from Boston with her mother to pursue a new life. Jane is being raised in a single parent home in a beautiful small town where she finds some friends and has a fairly desce .... Middle of paper .... in south at the time.
