.... sleep. Even when I closed my eyes the sound of a random man’s snore would jolt me awake. I thought it was hopeless to even attempt to fall asleep, therefore I gazed up at the sky, hoping I would tune out the dreadful noises of drunken men.
A shadow crossed my face, blocking the stars glow. A sudden rush of fear went through my body. Just when I leapt to my feet to see what was outside the door to the mead-hall opened. My jaw fell to the ground when I saw a devilish monster standing with it ....
