Things stayed this way until 1948 when Falstaff bought the Coulumbia Brewery Co. in St. Louis and began to make Falstaff there. Falstaff had three plants in St. Louis. In 1952 Falstaff bough another Brewery in San Jose. That same year Falstaff closed the former Otto Stiffel brewery in St. Louis. In 1954 they bought the Bergoff Brewery in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. 1956 brought two more aquisitions a brewery in Galveston and ....
