Beginning of paper
Antigone begins as Antigone and Ismene talk about their brothers' deaths in the war. The one brother, Eteocles, was buried with great military honors, whereas the other brother, Polyneces, was left in the field to rot. Antigone was angered by this and was determined to bury him, even though the pen ....
Middle of paper
.... Creon. Creon refuses to remove Antigone's punishment and he sends Haimon away. Antigone is then locked up in a chamber and left to die.
Haimon, feeling helpless, couldn't live without Antigone so he killed himself. Haimon's mother, Eurydice, learns of his death and she too kills herself, leaving Creon alone and unhappy.

Antigone - Haimon's fiancé and daughter of the former king.
Ismene - Antigone's sister.
