He also didn't take enough care with the creature's appearance. Victor never considered how such a creature would be able to exist with human beings. .... I will be comparing two heroes of their respective eras, Beowulf and Batman. The differences between the two jump right off the page, so I will start with that. Batman has guided and motivated two generations now. From comic books, to television and to the silver screen, Batman has rescued innocent victims and saved the world countless times. He had long battles with The Joker, though neither would ever die because then the ratings would fall. But Batman would always be there to save the day, even though he never actually kills his opponent except in the movies. Of course, the complete opposite of this is Beowulf. Beowulf cannot win a bat .....

.... is that many parts in the novel are different from the movie. The parts are the same but they are expressed differently in the book and in the movie. An example of this point is how Boo Radley is portrayed in the book and in the movie. In the book, Boo Radley is depicted as an unfriendly and not caring person while in the movie, his characteristics are not as strongly expressed. Boo Radley does not seem to be as bad in the book as he is in the movie. In conclusion, the reason why the movie is not as detailed as the book is because there are just too many important details to cover and so the movie does not add the insignificant events. Both men are strong-willed, powerful, and stubborn about their ways of thinking and living. This is especially seen in St. John as Jane describes her cousin as being “as stiff about urging his point” as possible. They believe that want they do is in the best interest of Jane and use unfair methods to tempt Jane into going against her own morals. Rochester tries to convince Jane to run away with him by using the tragic story of his marriage to Bertha Mason. His story makes Jane feel sympathetic .....

.... Holden sees evil. He looks out on a world which appears completely immoral and unscrupulous. The three days we learn of from the novel place a distressed Holden in the vicinity of Manhattan. The city is decked with decorations and holiday splendor, yet, much to Holden's despair "seldom yields any occasions of peace, charity or even genuine merriment."3 Holden is surrounded by what he views as drunks, perverts, morons and screwballs. These convictions which Holden holds waver very momentarily during only one particular scene in the book. The scene is that with Mr. Antolini.
