They may seem a tad different to a kid nowadays, but keep in mind that this takes place in the 1960's. S.E. Hinton's plot is not very difficult to understand, since the story rarely gets com .....

This made me think that if they could work hard for there dream why can't I. It showed me that it does not matter were you come from or what you do, it is okay to dream and work as hard as you can to reach it. For all it shows for friendship and loyalty it also shows how sometimes you have to do things you never thought you would .....

The definition of intelligence that is explained in the book is having certain attributes that help you become a stronger individual. The qualities are having honesty, ethics morals and compassion. One has to achieve this intelligence thoughtlessly; Charlie shows this before he has his operation. By reaching this type of intelligence a person does not have to have a lot knowledge or a high I.Q, but you may reach peace in life by being a spiritually kind person that is previously show in the abstrac .....

It can be viewed as treating everyone the same all of the time or treating everyone equally at a particular time.It is obvious that Higgins does not treat everyone equally all of the time, as witnessed by his actions when he is in "one of his states" .....
