.... The line of camels was not to good. They were either very old or very young and would not last a really long trip. have a legend about Mount Conner. They say that in creation times a camp of Ice Men made a camp here and when they left it the Mountain rose from the ground to mark the spot. Mount Conner is a mesa like formation that rises 800 feet above the surrounding desert. After that the next destination was Ayers Rock which is a large boulder. Then the last destination was Mount Olga. This is a grouping of large round-toped pillars. Most of these pillars were more than five hundred feet high. Some were over 1000 feet high.
