.... torrent of rain hammers upon the vehicle, drowning out all other sound. You can no longer hear the sound of the engine, the heartbeat of the metal steed that has carried us this far and will carry us many more miles. The beat of the music is no longer distinguishable as beats out it's own tune on the glass of the windows and the metal of the car. Visibility is reduced to almost the end of our noses as the water sluices down the windows. Moving the car ever so cautiously, my father pulls into a truck stop to wait out . .... around. The kindergarten room was brightly decorated with lots of posters and student's art work. The kids were working on colors because there was a strip on top of the blackboard that had the colors and things we might see in that color. The student's desks were arranged in two rows, pushed together and facing each other. There were about twelve seats in each group, so there were about 24 students in the class. Apparently, the class had just been returning from a trip to the school library when the fire drill went off, so when they came in they were still carrying their library books. .... we arrived in State College we met up with Nicole and a couple of her friends. We proceeded to go to her friends dorm and began playing drinking games prior to t he evening of partying. Needless to say after a couple hours of drinking games we were all a little tipsy, so we then sauntered on over to a Fraternity party, where we continued working on our inebriation. After a long night of partying and fraternizing with hundreds of drunk college kids much like ourselves, we headed back to the dorm in which the whole evening started. And just as any after-school special goes, there was one kid who had just a little too much to drink, and he proceeded .....

.... the house. I was handed a cup by a friend. Looking into it to see if it had been used, we both shrugged and turned towards the basement. As I pushed my way through the crowd to look for the keg I immediately knew it was in the corner because of the crowd surrounding it. Once I reached the keg, I found myself waiting once again for my beer. The person who was filling up the cups was not filling them first come first serve. He would fill the cups of his friends first, then the girls, and then if he had to fill up his own cup he would. While doing this he was talking his friend whose job it was to pump the keg when needed. People were sticking .....

.... greens, and tantalizing reds has taken its place. the colors seem to come alive in the sunshine, portraying that sunlight seems to be theperfect compliment to this picture painted by nature. Once you step across the threshold seperating my patio from my yard and stand outside you can actually grope the image of my backyard with your eyes, it is clear that grass is the most abundant commodity here. there must be at least a billion blades of healthy green sheathes penetrating up from fertile chocolate brown soil. the only discoloration that is visible on each blade occurs on their tops. these tops were once as green as the rest of their bodie .....

.... a few days of exploring caves in the park we were ready to head home. With tired muscles and dusty bodies we were ready for warm showers and soft beds. Upon exiting the park and traveling along the long strait path of the highway home we spotted a dark hole in a rock formation along the side of the road. Being true cavers and adventurous types we decided we had to poke our heads in to take a look around. I veered off the road in started heading in the direction of the rock formation.
