Why I Hate The Mall
Words: 1098 / Pages: 4 .... After enduring ten minutes of the cabbie's "lemme
tell ya what's wrong with this country", I finally get to my destination.
As soon as I got there, I began to think about how sad it is that the
mall has very much become a part of American life. The Chinese have their rice,
we have our malls. Does anyone else see a problem with having over one-thousand
of these gaudy monstrosities across the country? Despite the fact that the era
of eighties-decadence has passed, the malls keep coming, and they keep getting
bigger. It's like something out of an Ed Wood flick.
I remember reading an article about how bad it's gotten. The largest
mall in America h .....

Personal Writing: The Day Of Surprise
Words: 906 / Pages: 4 .... On Valentines Day I felt loved by everyone. On that day, I would
obtain the card that I had picked out from my father. Classmates would
give everyone Valentine cards. Some extremely generous kids would even
attach candy to the cards. It didn't matter if you hated each other, on
Valentines Day everyone put aside their differences and even presented
cards to the children nobody liked. That one day of love seemed to unify
the worst of foes through love and forgiveness. I could hardly wait for
that day to come.
As the night before Valentines Day had rolled around, anticipation
had escalated to an all time peak. Nevertheless, it was all set aside as .....

We've been together for almost a year and a half now and she is one of the most important things in my life. I don't know what I would do without her. She has always been there when I needed her. If I was slacking off and wasn't doing my homework she would encourage me and help to keep my spirits up. I appreciate what she has done for me and I love her very much.
The thing that I have enjoyed the least about is knowing that it's almost over and I still don't have a clue what I want to be after I get out of high school. The whole thing kind of scares me. I've gone through four yea .....

Words: 1009 / Pages: 4 .... a sensation as clean and pure as the air. Taking in the majestic sights the mountains have to offer gives me such a refreshed feeling—sometimes city life can leave one with a cold emptiness. Hiking through unmarked paths makes me curious to explore the new territory. I often think of Robert Frost’s “The Road Less Traveled” when passing through these sections.
Sometimes I sit and observe all of nature’s critters at work: rabbits digging, squirrels playing, and birds chirping. I also enjoy the wonderful views nature has to give. It is absolutely breathtaking: the colors of the flowers in the springtime. Bright yellows, warm reds, soft .....
