Personal Writing: Life Is Short

no one seemed to be hurt. That experience really changed how I thought of
my life, or so I thought.
The next major experience was during this school year. I went out
to a party one night, and I never expected to get into problems. I had a
little to drink and I guess it clouded my mind so I had a lot more. I
didn't think I was drunk until it was too late. The whole night blacked out
and when I awoke I was in the Hospital. It turns out that I had drunken
myself into a coma and if I wasn't taken to the hospital I would have died.

this scenario replayed itself over and over in my mind. Here is my revised
strategy, which might just be used if the guy bothers me again. "When you leave
your door open, I can hear your music in my room which makes if difficult for me
to get school work done. I love music too, and certainly don't want you to not
enjoy it, but please don't force others to 'enjoy' it with you. I noticed that
when your door is closed, I can no longer hear it in my room and there is no

Personal Writing: My Tutoring Job

I started to criticize myself. I realized that even though algebra was so easy for me, it did not mean that he understood the material, too. So I figured out a new way of tutoring, which became more efficient later. I went through every problem with him, step by step, and corrected the errors he made.
